Pure water window cleaning, when performed correctly, typically does not leave streaks or spots on the windows
To ensure you receive the best clean possible we do the following:
Mineral-Free Water: The pure water we use as a very low mineral content, as it goes through a filtration process that removes impurities and minerals. These minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, are responsible for leaving streaks and spots on windows when traditional tap water evaporates.
Reverse Osmosis or Deionization: The extensive filtration process we use effectively removes the minerals and impurities from the water. We ensure that all our water is tested prior to use and has a 0 TDS level .
No Chemicals: Pure water window cleaning eliminates the need for chemical cleaning solutions, which can leave behind residues and streaks. The absence of chemicals reduces the chances of streaking or spotting on the windows.
Factors outside of our control:
There are occasions when older UPVC windows or painted windows produce a "milky" film when cleaned. This is especially the case when the windows have not been cleaned regularly. This can leave a few water spots on your windows after they have dried. This will likely happen on a first clean but will improve after subsequent cleans.
There are also times when trapped dirt between UPVC window grids or lead window strips is loosened during the cleaning process and the water collects and releases the dirt after cleaning. Again, this is something that will improve after regular cleaning.
If you are not totally satisfied with your clean, please let us know as soon as you can, on the day if possible, so we can rectify this for you.
